Important Event Announcement

EKTER SA announces that on August 3, 2017, the decision of the Plenary Session of the Competition Committee, no. 642/2017, concerning the case of ex-ante investigation of the General Directorate Competition investigation in tenders for public infrastructure works. This decision was issued during the Dispute Settlement procedure, pursuant to article 25a of Law 3959/2011 and the decision of the Competition Commission No. 628/2016 and imposed a penalty on EKTER SA. The amount of the penalty is 99,858.00 €.

In the consolidated financial statements for the year 2016, the above mentioned penalty has already been included, which also impacted the results of the financial year, by making a provision equivalent to a short-term liability.

The management of the company reserves the right to examine the decision with its legal advisors for any action.
