New Project Contract

The Company EKTER S.A. informs the investment public that on August 1st, 2022, it signed a project contract with the General Directorate for Transportation Infrastructures/ Directorate for Airport Infrastructures (D15), with a contract price amounting to €6,690,440.44 plus 17% VAT and a contract time for the construction amounting to 24 months as of signing the contract.

The project scope is the expansion, rearrangement, repair and improvement of the building facilities in Chios Island National Airport, and it includes sub-projects 3, 4 and 7 of the Act integrated in the OP ΥΜΕΠΕRΑΑ (Operational Program Transport Infrastructures, Environment & Sustainable Development) with IIS (Integrated Information System) code 5067519:

• SUB-PROJECT 3: Works for the expansion and improvement of the existing air terminal referring to infrastructure for the provision of aeronautical services, namely the part of these works (building, hydraulic, E/M, etc.) involving the layout of the passenger service areas, the YPA (Civil Aviation Authority) offices, the control offices, etc., not including the works for commercial use (shops, offices and storehouses for third parties, ticket booths, etc.) and dining use areas.
• SUB-PROJECT 4: This involves the infrastructure for commercial uses and dining uses and it includes the necessary construction works for commercial use and dining areas at the air terminal.
• SUB-PROJECT 7: At the existing PEA (Air Training Wing) building, the works involve the modernization and restoration of finishings and E/M facilities.
